As a Patent Counsel at ASM's Phoenix office, you'll safeguard and grow our critical intellectual property assets, enabling our cutting-edge technology to thrive in the marketplace. You will collaborate with inventors, R&D teams, and global colleagues to manage a diverse patent portfolio, driving innovation and delivering value in a high-tech, multicultural environment.

**What You Will Be Working On**:

- Drafting and prosecuting patents within ASM's diverse technology portfolio.
- Building strong relationships with inventors and staying informed about R&D advancements.
- Managing outside counsel and implementing global IP prosecution strategies.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, mechanical engineering, or related disciplines.
- Qualified as a patent attorney or patent agent in a major jurisdiction (e.g., US, EP, KR, or JP).
- Proven experience in patent drafting, IP portfolio management, and supervising external counsel.
- Knowledge of IP-related contracts and other IP types such as trademarks or trade secrets.
