Consultant Supply Chain Optimization

**Introduction**:
As a Consultant to Ordina's Supply Chain Planning and Optimization team, you are in the pole position for improving the planning of your customers. You work, from Belgium (Mechelen, Lummen or Ghent) or the Netherlands (Nieuwegein) for various clients who have to deal with complex planning puzzles in, for example, the Chemical Industry, Life Sciences or Consumer Goods. You will use the top technology of OMP, a software solution for complex production planning, with which Ordina entered into an ambitious partnership. As a member of a project team, you will analyse customer needs and ensure the implementation and delivery of high-quality, validated and documented solutions.To master this technology, together with a number of team members who also step into this process, you will first receive a thorough training.

You are responsible for:

- Collecting and formulating business requirements and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
- The continuous improvement of this solution and the development of new functionalities.
- Validating new functionalities with the various stakeholders.
- Implementing the solution from A to Z, together with your Ordina project team and the team on the customer's side.
- Offering expert knowledge in customer projects during, during and after implementation.

The Ordina Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) team is a team of currently 60 consultants spread across Belgium and the Netherlands with years of experience in the field of Planning Solutions, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Optimization.We make the difference by delivering intuitive solutions that guide and support the customer in making decisions that are in line with their intended business objectives

**Who we are looking for**:

- Bachelor or university degree, preferably in econometrics, applied economics, mathematics, commercial sciences, civil engineer or commercial engineer.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, preferably in the Chemical Industry, Life Sciences or Consumer Goods
- Experience with APS software and/or ERP systems
- Experience with SQL
- Basic programming skills or interest in learning this quickly
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to connect with different stakeholders.
- Passion for working in a multinational customer-driven environment.
- A friendly and open approach to working in a team.
