**Job description**:
HR BUSINESS PARTNERING
- Develop and lead the HR agenda for Belgium ensuring a balance between advancing the People processes, whilst delivering with excellence on all HR foundational elements
- Coach and develop the People Managers on all HR related topics to further advance the People Agenda and ensure continued ability to execute their business strategy
- Part of the EMEA HR Team partnering to drive impact and scale within the Region across various People-related initiatives
- Advancing the Data and People Analytics capabilities (across Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial) to enable data-led insights and decisions
- Lead all aspects of the HR annual cycle; performance management, succession planning, talent management, development, total rewards, and culture / engagement.
- Building strong and collaborative relationships with employees and management in Belgium, while bringing specialist and generalist knowledge and expertise in multiple HR areas

PAYROLL & HR ADMIN
- Working closely with Global HR Shared Service Centre to drive Country-specific needs and initiatives
- Manage and monitor the Training & Development budget/hours as per local legislation
- Maintain a clear understanding and providing up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates
- Develop HR policies in line with current legislation and keeping abreast of modern HR procedures and best practice
- Monitor and maintain local compensation and benefit policies and terms and adjust in line with Belgium legislation
- Develop, share and update local HR reports and ensure corrective actions when required
- Manage employee relations matters and maintain a professional working relationship with Unions and Workers’ Councils
- Lead and manage local union negotiations

**Profile**:

- Degree within business or HR management and 5+ years of relevant HR Generalist experience
- Solid experience as HR Business Partner plus a sound understanding of European HR practices and policies including Change Management, Organisational Effectiveness, Culture and Employee Engagement
- Robust payroll management and HR admin experience, you have managed and developed payroll operations in Belgium
- Leadership & coaching training/qualifications
- Excellent working knowledge of Belgian employment law and HR best practices
- Solid knowledge from manufacturing
- Courage and the ability to challenge the status quo to continuously improve
- Flexible, problem-solving approach and strong team player/relationship builder
- Excellent facilitation and team development skills
- Being able to manage and prioritise multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding and experience in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
- Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
- Drive, determination and resilience with energy, enthusiasm and a can do attitude and behaviors
- Result-oriented, pro-active, accountable and energetic
