DIGIT.A.2 in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems for EC and non EC entities, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

Below are the details of your role and requirements.

**Your role**:

- Develop and maintain **front-end architecture** and **user interfaces**.
- Develop and maintain **back-end services** and **core business logic**.
- Build and manage **servers, databases, and system components**.
- Perform **data analysis**, **data modelling**, and **pipeline development**.
- Implement **security and data protection** measures.
- Create and maintain **APIs** and system integrations.
- Participate in the **design and architecture** of scalable enterprise software.
- Ensure **code integrity, maintainability, and clean development practices**.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, focusing on **automation** and **continuous improvement**.
- Produce **technical documentation** and maintain code repositories.
- Interact with **business analysts**, **users**, **project leaders**, and **technical teams**.
- Collaborate with **data centre** and **dependent system teams** to ensure system interoperability.

**Who we think you are**:
**Technical Skills**
- Excellent command of **JavaScript**, **HTML**, and **CSS**.
- Strong experience with **JavaScript frameworks/libraries** such as **AngularJS**.
- In-depth expertise in **Java**, **EJB/Spring**, and **JPA/Hibernate** frameworks.
- Excellent knowledge of **database technologies** (Oracle, MySQL).
- Proficiency in **API design and development**.
- Solid knowledge of **CI/CD pipelines** and **automation tools**.
- Experience with **data processing** and integration workflows.
- Familiarity with **code versioning tools** such as **Git** or **SVN**.
- Ability to deliver **high-quality documentation** and **technical presentations**.
