- Join our AML Compliance team and contribute to safeguarding the integrity of the financial system. As part of Bank Degroof Petercam’s strategic growth, we are reinforcing our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) capabilities to support key integration projects related to client and transaction monitoring. The AML analyst function offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment, working alongside experienced professionals committed to excellence.
- You work closely with colleagues across departments to safeguard compliance with the AML regulation.-
- Your position-
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) investigations on both new and existing clients. ( KYC & KYT)
- Support in the preparation and filing of notifications with the Financial Intelligence Unit
- Assess complex ownership structures and risk profiles with analytical precision.
- Analyse transactions to identify unusual or suspicious activity.
- Prepare clear, well-documented investigation reports with factual and detailed substantiation.
- Advise internal stakeholders on compliance and sanction-related risks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
- Support the team in various compliance-related initiatives
- Promote the Compliance culture in the bank- Your profile-
- We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented person with the following qualifications:
- You have a Master degree in Finance, Economics and/or in Law with a minimum of 2 years of experience as AML Officer
- Rigorous, curious and able to work independently
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to grasp complex issues quickly
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Fluent in either French or Dutch, with a good command of the other language and a professional working level of English
- Meticulous, curious, and resilient under pressure
