**The Role**:
**What’s the role**
This is a field-based customer facing role in the Benelux Lubricants Sales Team predominantly working with our automotive and truck customers across Belgium and Luxembourg. The Territory Manager supports and guides customers in strong collaboration with the Key Account Manager and the Customer Operations team.
**Main objectives of the role**
- Represent Shell growth journey within the Belgian and Luxembourg market by maintaining and developing excellent customer relationships.
- Visit customer delivery locations in line with visit plans and frequency as agreed with Key Account Manager and Business Manager.
- Support the accounts from operational perspective by providing local expertise and technical support at delivery location level.
- Support the Key Account Manager to identify and actively seek opportunities to increase the value for new and existing Shell customers.
- Drive implementation of marketing initiatives agreed at headquarter level between the customer and the Shell Key Account Manager.
- Using Customer relationships to influence sites behaviors and training the lubricants knowledge with customers.
**Description & Accountabilities**
- Support in the negotiation and conversion of customers and sites to contribute to the local growth agenda.
- Onboard new sites, liaise with Key Account Manager and Customer Operations to create an onboarding pack.
- Build very strong relationships with the customers on the field to retain existing account and collect market data.
- Collaborate with the extended team (Key Account Manager, Marketing, Technical, Customer Operations) to service customers and to increase market share.
- Maximize the usage of touchless tools like Shell Market Hub and eBilling.
- Reactively respond to any site queries between scheduled visiting and phone calls.
- Demonstrate a customer centricity & enterprise 1st approach.
- Deliver a personal Goal Zero and promote the values of Shell (ethics & compliance)
**Skills & requirements**
- Creativity: ability to think out of the box
- Demonstrates ability to execute an account strategy
- Strong customer relationship and commercial mindset by understanding what it means to be customer first and offering a good and valuable experience for customers.
- Project Management: analytical and structured
- Have strong drive and ability to ability to work in an autonomous manner
- Experience in customer interactions.
- French speaking and proficient in English and Dutch.
- Enthusiasm for automotive & truck sector is a plus.
