**About the role**
We are looking for an experienced BI Planning Consultant with broad technical competences in SAP Analytics Cloud and strong knowledge in business areas with focus on Financial planning and Controlling.
The person in this role will focus on development and enhancement of the SAC corporate planning and reporting system, working closely with CFO and FP&A team, transforming business needs into system design, data models and stories.
**What you'll do**
- Perform analysis and document the business requirements, goals and challenges of the entire company and individual business areas.
- Be the business and sparring partner working closely with Finance and SAP CoE team to continuously improve SAC reporting and planning in terms of adding new data elements, building new reports, enriching data models, creating visualisations for better insights etc.
- Function as a gate-keeper related to SAC and introduce SAP best practices with regards to financial planning and reporting where possible whilst meeting business requirements.
- Support end-to-end development cycle for new requirements and change requests, preparing the system design, implementing the changes and delivering the solution to end users. (Stories, workflows, data models,)
- Optimize the system design and user experience.
- Document changes according to the change management policy.
**What you'll need**
- You have at least 3 years of experience with SAP Analytics Cloud with the focus on planning capabilities and stories development, defining/planning and implementing solutions based on requirements driven by support and project initiatives.
- You have good understanding of SAP Datasphere or BW/4HANA data modelling.
- Experience with Financial Consolidation solutions is an asset (S/4 Group Reporting, BPC, BOFC)
- You demonstrate the knowledge of S/4HANA functionalities and end-to-end business flows, being able to talk with Business Process Owners in their language, understanding their business needs and connecting actual processes in ERP with planning processes in SAC.
- You have a good understanding of Financial planning, Controlling and Consolidation concepts and other business flows affecting the corporate planning process.
- You demonstrate ability to translate business requirements into the system design.
- You have hands-on experience through phases of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) from analysis, to designing, customizing (configuring), testing, data mapping/conversion, performance tuning and documentation
- You have a university degree or the equivalent by experience
- Languages: English is a must, any other language is a plus
