To support our fast-growing telecom activities, we are looking for a Prevention Advisor Level 1 and Coordinator HSEwith proven experience in constructions,

Key Responsibilities
:
- Safety Policy & Strategy:Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures adapted to telecom engineering activities (mobile and fixed networks);
- Risk Analysis & Assessments:Conduct in-depth risk analyses for network construction, installation, and maintenance activities, both on-site and in office-based projects;
- Field Safety Oversight:Perform regular site visits to monitor compliance with safety regulations, identify hazards, and proactively address risks on mobile and fixed network construction sites;
- Incident & Accident Investigation:Investigate incidents and near-misses, perform root cause analyses, and define corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence;
- Compliance & Audits:Ensure compliance with Belgian safety legislation and telecom-specific standards through inspections, audits, and safety reviews;
- Safety Culture Development:Work closely with engineers, contractors, project managers, and management to promote a strong safety culture across the organization;
- Training & Awareness:Support the development and delivery of safety trainings, toolbox meetings, and awareness campaigns for internal teams and external partners;
- Project Support:Act as a safety partner for telecom projects, advising engineering and deployment teams throughout the project lifecycle;
- External Coordination:Liaise with external authorities, inspection bodies, and partners regarding safety matters when required;
Your Profile
:
- Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1 (mandatory);
- Ideally master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Telecommunications Engineering;
- Proven experience in constructions, installations construction
- including electrical, data, equipment, networks (launch, implementation, maintenance or infrastructure projects)
- construction of mobile and/or fixed telecommunications networks is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of risks related to telecom field activities (working at height, RF exposure, electrical risks, civil works, etc.);
- Fluent in French and Dutch, with a good professional knowledge of English, Romanian is a plus;
- Willing and able to be mobile across different sites, combined with office-based work;
- Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach;
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with engineering, QHSE, and project teams. Nice to have:
- VCA-VOL certification;
- GOF 3-4;
- Knowledge of Belgian telecom safety standards and regulations;
