Medical Terminologist

**ABOUT THE JOB**

As a Medical Terminologist you will join a small team of language experts and you will have these responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain linguistic resources (specialized dictionaries and semantic subsets) necessary for business requirements
- Translate clinical concepts from English to French (Snomed CT)
- Perform corpus annotation and analysis
- Carry out terminology development, edition and maintenance
- Coordinate the efforts of the terminology the team in various projects assigned to them

**WHO YOU ARE**

**Must have skills**
- Education degree or equivalent in Linguistics or Translation
- A few years of experience in Linguistics/Terminology/Translation field
- Proficient in English and French

**Nice to have skills**
- Basic knowledge in programming (e.g. Python, Perl)
- Knowledge in corpus linguistics, ontology, semantics, lexicology, syntax, etc.
- Medical knowledge or experience (familiarity with patient data management or medical documentation)
- Knowledge of clinical terminologies, classifications and standards such as Snomed CT and ICD10
- Knowledge of other languages
- Experience using CAT tools (e.g. SmartCat)
