The Communication department of BESIX Group wishes to reinforce its team as it faces multiple new challenges in external and internal communications. We therefore propose an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Communication Expert to join the current Communication team. The position, reporting to the Head of Communications of BESIX Group worldwide, is based at the Group’s headquarters in Brussels (Woluwe-Saint-Lambert).

Your responsibilities include:

- _ Corporate communication strategy_: you actively contribute to the implementation of the corporate communication strategy, both internally and externally, with the right tone of voice, rhythm, frequency, target audiences, channels, and key messages in line with the business strategy.
- _ Corporate content_: you drive the strategic and tactical workflows of key corporate publications (such as the annual activity report or the quarterly personnel magazine) for which you ensure that a consistently high quality of work is maintained. You actively participate to provide content for various corporate publications.
- _ Corporate story-telling_: you identify opportunities for corporate stories/coverage which positively impact BESIX’ reputation and developing key corporate messaging for print and online channels, both internal and external.
- _ Corporate communication acumen_: you function as sparring partner, sounding board and advisor on corporate communications to key stakeholders across functions and levels.
- _ Executive positioning_: you define strategic and opportunity topics that match the individual strengths of the executives while supporting the strategic message of the company.
- _ Project management_: you lead corporate communication projects from start to finish, esp. publications.
- _ Press management_:_ _you actively monitor international media, prepare press releases and position papers, and foster good relations with specialised media.

**Qualifications**:
Essential:

- Outstanding storytelling, copywriting and editorial skills with excellent oral and written French language skills; and a good command of Dutch and English.
- Evidence of strong project management skills (esp. in editorial publications) and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and deliver high quality results.
- The ability to build strong relationships with peers and with partners outside the team.
- Self-motivated communications expert.
- Fun to be with

Desirable:

- Experience in working effectively across functions and levels
- Well-developed planning skills
- Relevant working experience (min. 10 years)
- Degree in communication, journalism, political science or modern literature
