**About the role**:
As a financial controller within Loop, you will play a key role in** setting out the financial landscape **of the company together with our Finance Manager.

You will assist in the monthly closing procedure and preparing the financial statements for our management and founders will be one of your key responsibilities. Next to that, you will be working on forecasting and budgeting, getting a grip on our numbers, gaining insights in our cash flow, and so on.
You will do all the above in collaboration with our Finance manager and the accounting team. On top of that, being a sparring partner for the business and a go-to person for financial knowledge withing Loop is the cherry on the top of your role as a Controller.

As a scale-up, we operate in an ever-changing environment which is something you need to be comfortable with. Extra challenges and varying responsibilities give you loads of energy.

**What you’ll do**:

- Monthly financial summarizing - preparing the financials together with the accounting team, variance analyses, reasonability checks, tracking financial KPI’s;
- Assist in building reporting tools and dashboards to provide insights and data together with your participation in automation processes;
- Play a key role in setting up rolling forecasts and annual budgets;
- Become a sparring partner for the departments in terms of analysis, knowledge and follow-up of the financials and support them in decision making processes;
- Work with internal & external stakeholders to support financial audits;

- You have an analytical mindset;
- You work in a structured and accurate way and have a keen eye on details;
- Adaptability is your middle name (being ready to pick up on ad hoc business cases) and you embrace change;
- You are an open-minded team player, and you motivate others with your enthusiasm;
- You know the financial statements inside out and BEGAAP has no secrets to you. You know a thing or two about IFRS? Even better
- You have a degree in finance-related studies
- Excel? Your favorite playfield You also have an affinity with digital optimization processes.
