**Division**

You will be joining the Group Programme Management Office (GPMO) department, which is a part of the Operational Excellence division

GPMO is a team of programme directors with experience and interest in leading the implementation of strategic business, technology and regulatory changes across the organization, usually under the sponsorship of a senior member of the Euroclear Group.

Examples of programmes are: Central Bank Money in EB, CSDR Settlement Discipline, Identity & Access Management, Data Management, Business Resilience,.

GPMO’s ambition is to keep developing Euroclear’s programme management capability, delivering large and complex change in a consistent manner, and ensuring benefits are achieved in a transparent manner.

**Role & responsibilities**:

- You will lead a programme that is of strategic importance for Euroclear to reach its objectives, often cross-entities and/or divisions, whilst acting as a role model for the values and principles through effective collaboration with all stakeholders.
- You shape and drive complex business, regulatory and technology changes for the organization, ensuring that the desired programme outcomes and objectives are delivered.
- You work in close collaboration with the programme sponsor and the business & technology change managers, ensuring scope, schedule and budget are managed effectively.
- You lead the programme team in a matrix organisation and your role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, transparency, enthusiasm and momentum. You build business relationships and trust among your stakeholders.
- You identify key relationships to build and maintain, and ensure the health of those relationships over the long term. Identify where formal (authority) and informal (influence) direction is required. Earn buy-in to your vision, and take steps necessary to realize it
- Your affinity and background in leading programmes in financial industry through technology and advisory will enable you to understand the business context of our internal and external clients, therefore offer considerable added value.
- You are exposed to a variety of topics during the life of the programme (benefits management, risk management, stakeholders management, planning ). You define strategies and execute plans to achieve objectives for each of these topics.
- You will get broad exposure to senior management across the organization, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to the success of the organisation.
- You have significant autonomy, working with business and technology stakeholders across the geographies as required.
- You will report to the GPMO lead within a flat organization

**Experience**:

- 10+ years of progressive programme and project management experience.
- Experience in financial industry in a global model is a plus
- Experience in functional or technical role in implementation of large cross borders systems is a plus.
- Managing Successful Programme (MSP) certification is a plus.

- **Communication skills**: your points are presented in a logical and structured way. You are able to communicate complex ideas in a simple way, both verbally and in writing
- **Organizational skills**: you develop a coherent action plan, stating resources, timetable, milestonesYou coordinate actions in a proactive manner and anticipate potential delays
- **Analytical skills**: you are able to decompose and structure complex programmes into manageable packages while maintaining the focus on the overall objectives. You have a strong ability to solve / pre-empt problems. You handle standard & non-standard situations with low level of certainty
- **Transparency**: you are not afraid to voice your convictions and you aim to create transparency in any situation
- **Change Management**: you understand the importance to manage the change in order to reach the objectives and you are experienced with change management methodology
