As part of the Benelux Brand Relations team and reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a crucial role in providing kids engagement and growing awareness and desire for the LEGO Brand.

Please note - This is a fixed term contract position that we anticipate lasting for a period of 8-10 months

Core Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of consumer events for LEGO in the Netherlands and Belgium in line with the overall Marketing Strategy.
- Responsible for LEGO World Event in the Netherlands, the biggest LEGO Family event in the world.
- Collaborates closely with many internal collaborators and external partners such as agencies, suppliers, venue and LEGO communities.
- Actively searches and establishes partnerships with relevant (kids) brands.
- Budget responsibility and regular reporting to Sr. Finance Manager and Marketing Director.
- Responsible for the Marketing communication plan to build awareness, desire and conversion for LEGO World Event.

The Event Manager is part of the Benelux marketing team. The Marketing Department is responsible for crafting and fostering consumer demand for the LEGO Group by converting consumer, shopper and market insights into compelling, creative, and innovative marketing programs that remain grounded in a strong commercial understanding and focus. You will be joining a passionate and successful marketing team focusing on the Benelux markets, consisting of Brand Management, Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand Relations and Planning and Performance.

**Please note**:This role is based in Brasschaat,** **Belgium (nearby the Dutch border - Breda)**. We can offer a local Belgian or Dutch contract depending on the country you are living in.

Do you have what it takes?
- Several years of experience in managing large sized Trade and/or Consumer events.
- Excellent project manager skills. You know what it takes to translate a strategy into an innovative plan and implement with excellence. You are always on top of all project deliveries, with an eye on the details
- Can do mentality, hands on, strong result and solution orientation.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with a high number of partners, both internal and external.
- Actively searches and establishing partnerships with relevant (kids) Brands
- Excellent skills in budget follow up and reporting.
- Agile and stress resilient, not afraid to manage obstacles and handle setbacks.
- Must be proficient in both English and Dutch.
