The **Cloud Asset Consultant **is a key player in managing software licenses for Cloud services. This role involves negotiation support, ensuring compliance, and optimizing licenses. The **Cloud Asset Consultant **collaborates with stakeholders, monitors costs, and contributes to IT policies in the Cloud domain.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Interpret licensing rights for Cloud SaaS and BYOL scenarios.
- Provide negotiation support for SaaS agreements.
- Maintain license entries in the SAM system.
- Ensure compliance and optimize licenses for SaaS and BYOL.
- Monitor and optimize Cloud costs in PaaS/IaaS scenarios.
- Assist in project management for SaaS and PaaS/IaaS tools.
- Contribute to the drafting of IT policies in the Cloud domain.
- Address Data Protection issues in Cloud contracting.
- Prepare compliance reports based on contracts or industry standards.
- Provide budget forecasts for SaaS and PaaS/IaaS.
- Assist in SaaS contract negotiations and stay informed on Cloud and hybrid licensing.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Entry-level: Bachelor's Degree in IT, economics, law, or related field with 2 years of Cloud-related experience.
- Senior position:Bachelor's Degree in IT, economics, law, or related field with 5 years of Cloud-related experience.
- Analyze software licensing situations and encode legal clauses into IT systems.
- Experience in data conversion, IT system configuration, and addressing Data Protection issues.
- ITIL V4 Foundation Certified and project management experience.
- CSAM or other SAM certification it's a plus.
- Cloud certifications (generic or platform-specific) are a plus.
- Data Protection certification is a significant asset.
- Strong presentation skills, ability to lead meetings, and proactive problem-solving.
- Long-term teamwork-oriented assignment.
- Coordination with stakeholders, report production, and policy implementation.
- Excellent comprehension and expression in English.
- Knowledge of French is an asset.
- Ability to draft comprehensive analysis documents and policies.
