Backend Developer

Winamp is a legendary media player with a story that goes back to the very beginning of digital audio in 1997. It now has a vibrant and committed community of 80 million active users worldwide.

We are currently re-launching Winamp to become the ultimate platform for audio lovers, a universal space where fans connect to their favorite artists, podcasts, radios & more, and where artists can access fairer and more transparent revenue sources, directly from their fans.

**We are looking for a Backend Developer to reinforce our tech team. Are you ready to come and shape the future of the music industry with us?**

**What you'll do**
- Be an active member of the back-end team
- Implement new key features, with clean, maintainable, and robust code
- Cover the new code with integrations tests
- Review the other team member pull requests
- Analyze complex technical problems - Design and implement effective solutions
- Optimize and propose potential solutions / evolutions to existing implementations

**Your profile**
- At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience with OOP, CQRS, web development in.NET Core and.NET 5+, C#, ASP.NET (WebAPI)
- Solid understanding and experience with object-oriented design and design patterns
- Solid experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of version control tools like Git
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Understanding of web standards such as HTTP, SOAP and REST
- Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex IT problems in simple, business-like terminology for ease of user’s understanding
- Quick learner that can work and troubleshoot problems independently
- Methodical working habits with a diligence for code annotation
- Fluent English, French is a +

**Nice to have**
- Any other language as for example, Python, PHP, Javascript, Angular or ReactJS, C++
- Knowledge of Redis, Docker, CI/CD principles
- Knowledge of mobile development (iOS or Android)
- Experience with pair programming and Agile software development techniques
