Chemours is seeking an Innovation Consultant Coatings to join our growing Innovation team in Europe This position will report directly to the EMEA Technical Marketing Manager at our Kallo, Belgium location.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Work with the account team to build solid strategic relationships with industry leading customers by providing technical expertise through the promotion of TT’s products and the creation and delivery of custom service offerings.
- Recognize opportunities at selected customers to create value for both the customer and Chemours, by matching the needs of the customers with the products/services/fields of expertise of Chemours.
- Develop relationships and collaborate with industry organizations and key industry players along the value chain to assess technology & market needs.
- Collaborate with a global team.

The following is _required_ for this role:

- Masters/PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or other related technical field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the coatings industry (R&D, technical service, technical marketing or equivalent) is required.
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, presentation and written skills are required.
- Flexibility to travel (focus on Germany), as needed, up to 40% of the time after the training program.
- Fluent English is a must. Being fluent in Dutch is a highly appreciated plus

- Professional presence and business acumen with demonstrated ability to work across various functions and levels and demonstrated ability to successfully work across teams.
- Willing to take risks and manage ambiguity; highly motivated, self-starter; ability to work with mínimal supervision.

Chemours is op zoek naar een Innovation Consultant Coatings om ons groeiende afdelingsteam te versterken In je functie zal je direct rapporteren aan de EMEA Innovation Manager op onze locatie te Kallo, Belgie.

In je functie zal je o.a. verantwoordelijk zijn voor:

- Het uitbouwen van solide relaties met strategische klanten door het promoten van de producten en het aanbieden en uitwerken van op maat van de klant gemaakte services in samenspraak met het account team.
- Herkennen van opportuniteiten die waarde creëren voor zowel de klant als Chemours, door de noden van de klanten te koppelen aan de producten/diensten/expertise van Chemours.
- Ontwikkelen van relaties en samenwerkingen met organizaties actief in de coatings industrie (vak associaties, medeleveranciers,...) doorheen de waardeketen om nieuwe technologieën te analyseren en noden van de markt op te sporen.
