**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience:
- Knowledge of the security incident management and strong ability to put the theory into practice
- Knowledge of Splunk administration, dashboards and Enterprise Security
- Experience with ITSM tooling, ticketing system and ITIL
- Experience with working in a challenging IT environment
- Strong basic IT knowledge which supports you in your daily activities
**DUTIES/ROLE**:
- Monitor security dashboards, analyse events and alerts, escalate when necessary and report to all stakeholders
- Act as a deputy Splunk administrator: make sure all Splunk components is operational at all times. Improve dashboards when necessary
- Be a point of contact within the organization for all matters related to security incidents. Maintain contact with peers outside the team
- Proactively look for possible issues and propose solutions
- Consult, improve and write Standard Operational Procedures (SOP's)
