**CONTEXT/INTRODUCTION
The European Commission's financial and accounting management is supported by a corporate information system known as ABAC. It consists mainly of ABAC Accounting (SAP ECC-based), ABAC Workflow (in-house developed using Oracle database, WebLogic and JAVA) and ABAC SAM (SAP ECC-based). Furthermore, it includes the ABAC Data warehouse (inhouse developed using Oracle database and SAP Business Objects reporting) and a middleware (SAP PI service bus, Oracle service bus). The Directorate General for Budget (DG BUDG) supervises ABAC's continuity and reliability, plans its future evolution, strives for continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with the Financial Regulation and Accounting Rules. The main objective of DG BUDG is to design and implement a new Corporate Financial & Accounting Information System called SUMMA. This system will be based on a single environment using SAP S/4HANA and aligned with the DG BUDG's roadmap and priorities. It will also be optimized for integration with the corporate systems of the Commission. The new system is developed in line with the SAP Activate methodology and the Commission's project management approach, PM2. Implementing this platform will help DG BUDG to make its financial IT landscape future-ready, improve its user experience, increase its capacity to process data, and strengthen control of available data. It will also raise cost-effectiveness, support reliable, consistent and timely information, and allow for predictive analytics and flexible modifications while driving system robustness and business continuity. The upgrade is expected to bring several benefits, such as lower total cost of ownership by staying closer to SAP standard and an improved time-to-market by reducing development time. However, the success of this implementation depends on adopting S4H's standard processes through SAP's Best Practices and keeping customization to the bare minimum. This will require significant joint effort from business, IT, and the implementation partner(s)

**DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
The SAP Migration Cockpit, Data Services, BW, BPC and SAC Consultant is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning solutions using SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SAP BW, SAP BPC, and SAP SAC. The consultant will work closely with DGs to understand their business needs, evaluate the data migration, planning and reporting requirements, and develop migration and reporting strategies that are aligned with the client's goals. The role also involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning projects. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning projects from start to finish, including defining project scope, developing project plans, and managing project timelines and budgets
- Provide expert-level guidance on data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning best practices and methodologies, including SAP Migration Cockpit configuration, customization, and scripting, as well as SAP Data Services integration and usage, SAP BW data modelling and reporting, and SAP BPC forecasting
- Collaborate with clients to define data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning requirements and develop data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning strategies for integration in local system that align with the client's business goals
- Design and develop complex data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning solutions, including data mapping, conversion, and migration scripts using SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SAP BW, SAP BPC, and SAP SAC
- Configure and customize SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SAP BW, SAP BPC, and SAP SAC to meet client-specific requirements
- Perform data quality checks and resolve data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning issues, including troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technical architects, and developers, to ensure successful delivery of data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning projects
- Collaborate in the deployment of specific adds such as “tagging mechanism” to SUMMA production.
- Develop and deliver training programs on data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning best practices, SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SAP BW, SAP BPC, and SAP SAC usage
- Document data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning processes and procedures and contribute to the development of data migration, reporting, forecasting and planning standards and templates
- Regular reporting to the hierarchy in DG BUDG on the development of the tasks.

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics or a related field
