As a **Finance Associate**, you’ll work in close tandem with our Head of Finance. You will play a key role in managing daily financial operations by supporting accounting processes, handling financial transactions, and preparing reports for both internal and external stakeholders. This isn’t just about keeping the books clean: it’s about helping shape how finance operates in a company growing at lightning speed. **Responsibilities**: - Day-to-day Financial Operations & controlling: - Support accounting and reporting in close collaboration with our external accountant - Manage quote-to-cash, sales invoices, and cash collections - Handle accounts payable, payments, and payment systems - Maintain internal controls and financial systems (BEGAAP) - Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting - Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis - Support with treasury and cash flow - Support revenue operations with sales & marketing - Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements - Optimize finance operations with new tools & automations - Support our Head of Finance with ad hoc projects and/or analyses - First experience in finance or accounting - High attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Sincere and trustworthy - You need to be Belgium-based (given all the regulations for accounting, VAT, balance sheets, ) - Plus: knowledge of SaaS billing & subscription systems (e.g., Chargebee, Hubspot, ) - Plus: experience with Exact Online What you can expect - High-impact position in a fast-growing company - Competitive salary package - A company that sticks to their values in an open and informal atmosphere (see our culture-page on the website for more details) - A diverse and inclusive organization that is proud to be an equal opportunity employer - Flexibility in working hours You will be recruited based on competencies.
