**Vacature omschrijving**:
Fine Food Meat staat voor passie en vakmanschap in vlees & alternatieve proteïnen. Jij bent binnen het team specialist op het gebied van technologie binnen vleeswaren, charcuterie en bereide maaltijden voor R&D-innovatieprojecten. Die lopen in samenwerking met externe onderzoekcentra, interne partners en verschillende productieafdelingen.
**Jouw takenpakket als Product Developer Fine Food**
- Je ontwikkelt producten en nieuwe processen of doet innoverende voorstellen voor productontwikkeling. Je signaleert afwijkingen in het productieproces, op basis van gestelde normen. Je begeleidt en voert proefproducties uit.
- Je levert ook een belangrijke bijdrage aan het verbeteren van de huidige producten en processen. Je bent gericht op een constante productkwaliteit en verlaging van de productiekosten.
- Je biedt ook ondersteuning en begeleiding bij de opstart van een nieuwe productie. Bij dit alles zorg je ervoor dat aan alle eisen op vlak van kwaliteit en voedselveiligheid voldaan wordt, in overeenstemming met de wetgeving.
- Je werkt daarbij nauw samen met de productieplants en aankoop in gedeelde onderzoeksprojecten en in projecten met externe partners.
- Je bouwt een intern en extern netwerk op en volgt nauwgezet de tendensen op de markt. Je bouwt mee aan het technologische kennisniveau binnen Fine Food Meat.
Je werkt in Halle en kan 1 dag per week thuiswerken of in een van onze regionale kantoren (Mechelen, Haasrode, Zwijnaarde...).
**Profiel**:
- **Kennis en ervaring -** Je hebt een academisch werk
- en denkniveau. Bij voorkeur in de richting Levensmiddelentechnologie of bio-ingenieur. Relevante werkervaring in de vleestechnologie en/of bereide maaltijden is vereist.
- **Communicatief vermogen** - Je communiceert vlot en kan zo een ruim netwerk uitbouwen.
- **Analytisch vermogen** - Je bent analytisch sterk en je werkt heel nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail.
- **Doelgericht** - Je werkt proactief, punctueel en bent gedreven door kwaliteit.
- **Vernieuwingsgerichtheid** - Je bent creatief en denkt out-of-the-box. Je verrast ons met verfrissende ideeën.
- **Operationeel** **plannen** - Je kan projectmatig werken: je coördineert en volgt de projecten op doorheen de verschillende fases van ontwikkeling: van ideation tot launch.
