The global center of Software Development for Envista, Medicim, located in Mechelen (Belgium), is world leader in innovative software solutions for the dental profession. We investigate, develop, maintain and support innovative software solutions for dentists and dental technicians. Our software solutions create intuitive workflows for image acquisition, diagnostics, treatment planning, prosthetic CAD/CAM and dental team collaboration in order to treat patients better. DTX Studio is our flagship software suite.

For our C++ team, we are looking for a software engineer.

Your role:

- Working as a SCRUM team member in software projects. Dependent on the project this can include a large variety of tasks: extending general functionality, new 2D or 3D visualizations or implementing a defined image processing or AI algorithm.
- Monitor and control code quality. This includes ensuring correct code review, decent unit tests, continuous integration and follow-up of coding guidelines amongst others.
- Detect, treat and solve issues, communicate and educate solution to the team.
- Assist in 3rd Level support cases and support with software testing.

**Job Requirements**:

- Master or Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in development of high quality software solutions within an existing large framework.
- Good knowledge of relevant programming languages and supporting frameworks (C++, Qt, QML,).
- Knowledge on 3D Rendering (OpenGL, Vulkan,) is an asset.
- Open and good communicator.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
