Now, we need an exceptional Front-End Developer to enhance our tech team and support our rapid growth. Your role will be crucial in shaping our platform’s user experience and ensuring our product remains innovative and user-friendly. As we continue to scale, your expertise will be key to achieving our next milestones.
Tasks
As a Front-End Developer at Shyfter, you’ll craft seamless, intuitive interfaces that enhance our platform. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product & backend to develop and implement front-end solutions that align with our goals.
You will report directly to the Dev Lead and collaborate with other teams to bring exciting new features to life.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality front-end features using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS for our web platform.
- Utilize React Query for efficient data fetching and state management.
- Mobile development is a plus, knowledge with React Native and Expo (Expo EAS and Expo Router).
- Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and adhere to best practices in coding and design.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality across different platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development to keep our product at the cutting edge.

Stack requirements
**Web Front-End**:

- React
- TypeScript
- TailwindCSS
- React Query
- Next.js (a plus)

**Mobile (yep it's plus)**:

- React Native / Expo
- Expo EAS
- Expo Router

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of professional experience as a front-end developer, preferably within a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and React Native (with Expo).
- Experience working with React Query for state management and data fetching.
- Familiarity with Next.js is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (FR/NL) is an asset.
