The employee experience is continuously improved by the **People Experience team **though the implementation of continuous listening and automations, as well as HR technology and analytics. In addition, high-quality HR admin services and Comp & Ben expertise are provided to support the business concerning each of these HR related topic.

**Job Summary**:
As Senior Compensation & Benefits (Comp & Ben) specialist, you are part of the People Experience team within the EMEA HR organisation of Terumo Europe. You report to Isabelle, the People Experience Lead.

You will ensure the correct and timely processing of all payroll activities for associates in Belgium and The Netherlands. In addition, you give advice or provide solutions to more complex Comp & Ben challenges and questions.

You will work closely together with the HR & Finance Community to improve the efficiency & quality of support for all salary reporting, compensation & benefits matters, including the annual budget process.
Furthermore, you are involved in EMEA Comp & Ben process improvement projects.

**Responsibilities**:
**HR Strategy**

Aligned with our HR strategy, you act as a partner to the HR community in all aspects of Payroll, Compensation and Benefits to increase associates’ engagement & improve associates’ experience.
You participate in EMEA HR Projects and lead or participate in local People Experience or other Projects.

**HR Systems, Compensation Policies, Processes, Projects, Compliance**

You manage autonomously all salary calculations and personnel-administration covering all aspects related to this administration for all levels of associates (employees, expatriates, executive management and bridge pension employees) in Belgium and The Netherlands.
You partner with the People Experience officers to optimize all HR Information Systems (HRIS) processes and ensure data quality between all internal and external HR Systems.
You identify opportunities for improvement and prepare alternative solutions.
Furthermore, you provide training to the HR Community and associates on the HR systems and Policies when needed.
You develop and maintain a good relationship with internal and external stakeholders, like our external Payroll provider or consultancy partners.

**Budget and Reporting**

You Compile periodic and special/ad hoc reports on payroll and finance matters for both business and accounting purposes to provide analytics on personnel and salary data.
You support in the creation and optimization of the HR salary costing budget. Control the HR salary costing budget in accordance with business priorities.

**Internal Communication**

In collaboration with other HR colleagues, you make sure Terumo associates have access to a user-friendly ad up to date self-service information portal, like SharePoint.
You make sure the HR team and all Terumo associates are well informed regarding Comp & Ben related news and updates. You keep promoting the self-service and other tools to ensure an efficient Comp & Ben process.

**Profile Description**:
You have a bachelor or master’s degree and can look back at at least 5 years’ experience of advanced Salary Administration - Payroll experience in within the European headquarters of a multinational.

You have been involved in payroll processing for expatriates, shadow payroll and salary-splits.

You are a strong communicator, and you feel comfortable in multicultural environment.

Experience with Protime, E-Blox and SuccessFactors Employee Central Module (SAP) are a plus

Good knowledge of Dutch and English (written and spoken). Other languages are an asset
