Our client, a large insurance broker, is currently looking for a Claims Handler Automotive to join the team in Bornem. The team is working in-house at an international and highly reputable player active in the automotive sector.
**Description**
- As claims manager, you are responsible for the optimal handling of your customers' claims and you are the reference person in case of problems and complaints.
- You analyze the claims thoroughly; you negotiate with customers, opposing parties, insurers, experts and lawyers; and you work out a good and efficient solution each time, taking into account the limited deadline
- You handle each file from A to Z: from opening the file, follow-up, payment, to closing and filing
- You also take the handling of the agenda and the mail to heart
- You draw up damage statistics and interpret them in collaboration with your colleagues

**Profile**
- You have a first experience in a claims department, preferably in the insurance branch Auto
- You are Dutch-speaking and have a very good knowledge of French
- You have a thorough knowledge of MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
- You are always customer-oriented and you can work well together in a team
- You are organized and good at setting priorities
