Role Definition

Administer clients’ Liability, Financial Lines and Cyber insurance requirements by providing broking and processing support to the local sales team in accordance with the relevant Company and/or Group policies to achieve targets, develop the business and deliver an excellent and comprehensive service.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Clients
- Support the sales and tender management approach,
- Develop strong relationships with other team members,
- Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and/or third parties,
- Deal with client renewals and mid-term adjustments, and
- Behave with all clients (both internal and external) fairly and ethically.

Suppliers/Markets
- Maintain an appropriate group of preferred insurance markets in each area of activity,
- Develop strong relationships with insurers,
- Negotiate with markets to provide best balance of quality, service and price, and
- Negotiate the best possible policy wordings for our clients with relevant insurers.

Broking / Administration
- Assist in the creation of comprehensive client broking and other types of documents,
- Processing of policies, quotes, indications and endorsements,
- Technical duties (including data entries and processing in our IT-platform),
- Assist in planning appropriate insurance programmes for the client’s demands and needs,
- Organise files and digital records, and
- Ensure up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company’s/Group’s systems for the rest of the team to access, developing new filing systems where appropriate.

Skills and abilities needed to perform role
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate documentation,
- Ability to work effectively within a team,
- Ability to prioritise and organize work,
- Digital frontrunner (learn how to use our end-to-end IT platform),
- Competent software skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point,
- Able to establish strong client focused relationships built upon the ability to deliver a high standard of service,
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing,
- Able to react positively to change - resilient and calm under pressure, and
- Willingness to contribute to the development of a new entrepreneurial corporate broker in a competitive environment, which requires flexibility and a very positive attitude.

Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of working in a technical/broker or insurer role, preferably in the area of Casualty & Financial Lines (including D&O Liability, Professional Indemnity, Crime and Cyber) Insurances,

Professional Qualifications
- Fluently in Dutch, French and English is a plus, and
