Assistant Operator

Our global trading offices are staffed by experienced traders who count Gas, Crude Oil, Light and Middle Distillates, as well as Bitumen and Fuel Oil, as their specialties.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Assist Product Oil operations in the Benelux + France + Germany region
- Assist and follow through purchase/sale contracts and all amendments related to the contracts. Well versed with contractual terms.
- Follow up compliance with deadlines for all contracts and operations works
- Coordinate loading/discharge of barges/trucks
- Reporting of the trucks/barges coming in and going out accurately and factually to the middle office and risk management.
- Coordination with trading desk as required
- Day to day follow up on contracts and deliveries including related operational matters
- Prepare, review and distribute reports, feedback, analysis, and other market data as required and on timely basis.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s’ degree or equivalent with relevant logistics experience of 0-2 years
- Strong operations skills in products operation, barge operations, storage management, ship operations will be beneficial
- Comfortable with extended working hours, due to the time zone differences
- Clear understanding of operations processes and documentation
- Thorough knowledge of the business or commercial market
- Be observant and resourceful
- Be methodical and rigorous in all aspects of the operations works
- Strong English & French language skills. Dutch language skills will be beneficial
