Winamp is a legendary media player with a story that goes back to the very beginning of digital audio in 1997. It now has a vibrant and committed community of 80 million active users worldwide.
We are currently re-launching Winamp to become the ultimate platform for audio lovers, a universal space where fans connect to their favorite artists, podcasts, radios & more, and where artists can access fairer and more transparent revenue sources, directly from their fans.
**At Winamp, we are looking for our next rockstar Product Owner who will be focussing on the Player side of the equation.**
**This role involves huge challenges, but also equally big growth opportunities, as you'll write the future of probably the most iconic audio player ever.**
**What you'll do**
As the one accountable for your own product pillar and its backlog, you will:
- define and identify the features of your product and work with developers to bring your backlog to life
- work out features together with the team, always keeping the product vision in mind
- follow-up to make sure everyone is on the same track (business, tech, product), while working on the different building blocks of the Winamp platform
- work closely with the other Product Owners / Product Managers, with the Head of Product as well as the Business stakeholders to define a vision for the future Winamp Player, in all its different versions
**Your profile**
- Previous experience or knowledge of the music(-tech) industry, or at least a strong interest in delving into that world from day1, is a must
- Experience with music players is a strong plus
- You are fluent in French and English
- You have a good understanding of tech
- Experience with SaaS/PaaS, product development, SLAs
- Certification in agile or other relevant methodologies is a plus
- You are able to synthesize, connect and present complex ideas to various audiences
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding written communication skills (you love writing perfect tickets)
- You have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
