Legal & Compliance Officer

Robert Half is currently looking for a Legal & Compliance Officer (M/F/X) in Brussels. The company is based in the Brussels region and this is a full-time position (40 hours/week) within a Banking & Finance / Legal & Compliance environment. Responsibilities of the Legal & Compliance Officer (M/F/X)role:
- drafting, reviewing, and monitoring contracts;
- answering legal questions from the business;
- providing legal advice to internal stakeholders;
- supporting compliance activities within a banking and financial context;
- ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations;
- acting as a point of contact for ad hoc legal and compliance queries;
- collaborating with the legal & compliance team on various projects. Required qualifications for this Legal & Compliance Officer (M/F/X)position:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Legal and/or Compliance;
- perfect English; German / French / Dutch / Spanish is a plus;
- first experience with contracts is required;
- experience in Banking & Finance is a strong advantage;
- strong interest in legal and compliance topics;
- hands-on mindset, not purely theoretical;
- strong communication skills and ability to express oneself clearly;
