YOUR TASKS
- Characterizing, processing and integrating custom biomaterials into a microfluidic cornea-on-chip platform.
- Rapid prototyping of microfluidic devices based on biocompatible tapes.
- Integration of TEER sensors with the microfluidic chip platform.
- In-Chip EIS analysis of Biomaterials and active compounds.
- Translating results into a comprehensive report as well as presentations for relevant stakeholders.
- Support master thesis students. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You hold a Master’s degree in Micro & Nano Electronic Devices Engineering.
- You have more than three years of experience in a research environment.
- You have experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- You are familiar with fabrication and design of microfluidics, biomaterials, cell seeding, drug diffusion and in-chip sensing.
- You are (co)author of at least one journal paper.
- Experience with surface analysis methods such as SIMS, TOF-SIMS, or XPS will be considered a plus.
- You are fluent in English. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

We offer
you a contract of definite duration for the period from November 2026 until and including April 2027 (6 months).
- Your contract will start on 1/11/2026 at the earliest.
- Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4. Click here for more information about our salary scales.
