**Your responsibilities as our Senior Business Controller U.S.**:
- You
- **support the business** in achieving strategic objectives by providing crucial and accurate financial information and conducting financial analyses.-
- You perform checks on results as part of
- **monthly and year-end closings**. You do this specifically for the U.S. entity of our group, ensuring compliance with legal obligations.-
- You
- **analyse and understand differences** in Budget & Reforecast.-
- You prepare
- **consolidated financial and business reports** for various stakeholders: management, banks, shareholders, different departments, etc.-
- You focus on
- **continuous optimisation and documentation** of financial and accounting processes.-
- You are
- **responsible for CAPEX approvals** and provide regular updates to the procurement team.-
- You
- **support the finance team** in ad hoc analyses and projects, your first one being the
- **consolidation of DESOTEC U.S. into group activities**.**Who are you as our Senior Business Controller U.S.?**:
- You possess strong
- **analytical and mathematical skills**, diving into details while maintaining a helicopter view.-
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a financial field, such as
- **Economics** or
- **Business Engineering**, with a
- **specialisation in accounting**.-
- You have at least
- **5 years of relevant experience** in accounting or auditing, preferably in an industrial setting. Experience with
- **variance analysis** is a plus.-
**Excel** (and modelling within it),
- **JET**,
- **PowerBi** and
- **ERP** hold no secrets for you.-
- You are fluent in
- **Dutch** and
- **English**. Fluency in French is a plus.-
- You are critical but approach challenges
- **pragmatically** and
- **problem-solving** oriented.-
- You work
- **meticulously**,
- **accurately**, and with a
- **structured** approach.-
- You are
- **resilient** and meet
- **deadlines**.-
- You
- **proactively communicate** with the business to better understand the numbers.**What does your team look like as a Senior Business Controller U.S.?**:
You’ll be a crucial part of our **Finance department**, reporting directly to the **CFO**. You’ll work closely with our **Group Controller**.
