The mission of the Credit Manager is to take responsbility for three main area's: managing credit risk and cash collection, Account Receivables and customer master data.

Your responsibilities:

- Drive overall collection of outstanding accounts and reduce DSO level and overdue amounts.
- Establish, monitor and enhance the credit control policy for BeNeLux.
- Planning, organizing and controlling workload of the team members.
- Structural improvements and innovations.
- Responsibility and ownership over the country customers from a support point of view
- Maintain high quality of customer master data.
- Negotiates with external third parties.
- Maintain strong working relationship with other departments.
- Support projects in collaboration with the Business Key users.

Profiel

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- EDUCATION: Bachelor or Master degree
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years in Credit Management
- SPECIFIC SKILLS : Result oriented, excellent communication and negociation skills, Team leader, people management skills, able to work with deadlines and under pressure.
- BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING: preferable experience in a commercial environment

- Audits uitvoeren (opzoeken van boekhoudkundige documenten, controle van de toegepaste werkingsregels, ontmoeting met de betrokken medewerkers,...)
- De methodes en procedures voor boekhoudkundige controle bepalen of invoeren
Hun toepassing controleren en aanpassingen voorstellen
- De regelmatigheid en betrouwbaarheid van de uitgevoerde operaties controleren
De financiële toestand van de organisatie controleren
- De onregelmatigheden of onjuistheden die werden vastgesteld tijdens onderzoeken of controles identificeren en bekendmaken
- De financiële risico's (beheer van activa en passiva, markt, krediet) van een organisatie opvolgen (voorzieningen voor kosten, uitstaande bedragen,...)
- De elementen voor een audit voorbereiden
Deze doorsturen naar de accountant, de beheerscontroller,... of ze analyseren
- Budgetten voorbereiden
De resultaten per eenheid, product of markt opvolgen
Oorzaken en verschillen identificeren
