Join our dynamic Finance team and play a key role in driving business excellence and continuous improvement. Working from our office in Oudenaarde (BE) you will be responsible for preparing, developing, and analysing management accounting information. As a Business Controller, you will provide critical financial insights, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

**Tasks**:

- Implement and develop a full production cost approach in collaboration with Operations and R&D. Experience in full costing is a plus.
- Conduct operating expenses budget and monthly actuals (gap analysis).
- Perform detailed margin analysis in close cooperation with the Sales Director and Purchasing department (actual vs. budget/forecast).
- Act as a sparring partner for various stakeholders in the company (Operations, Sales, etc.).
- Follow up on and develop various projects in collaboration with management.
- Oversee inventory, assess slow-moving and obsolete stock, and take necessary actions.
- Work closely within the Business Control team (3+ colleagues) to define and improve best practices and enhance processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement (AI) by refining financial reporting, improving data accuracy, and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Calculate scenarios, business cases, and working capital impact for decision-making.
- Initiate, monitor, and improve KPIs such as stock risks.

**Profile**:

- Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in a production controlling environment is a plus.
- Strong project follow-up and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and enthusiasm for working in an international network.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Financial or Business Controller.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial control tools, techniques, and processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel: pivot tables, functions, data query) and ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a strong plus).
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- Willingness to work in an international organization and communicate across all levels.
