The European Climate Foundation (ECF) was established in 2008 as a major philanthropic initiative.
ECF supports global efforts to bring about decarbonisation in the context of development, equity, justice and sustainability and supports strategies, convenes partners and stakeholders and makes grants in order to support an energy transition away from fossil fuels and towards clean energy.
We are looking for a seasoned leader to advance an innovative international philanthropic initiative in collaboration with ECF’s regional foundation peers and regranting partners.
ReNew2030 is a new global initiative housed at ECF to advance wind and solar, plus grids and storage to meet near term 2030 and 2035 climate goals. It is a very action-oriented, collaborative and partner facing role that would suit an exceptional individual with a drive to make an impact on climate in the near term.
The project's implementation will be driven by a partnership of regional climate foundations and expert regranting platforms, and thus
collaboration will be a key benchmark of success for this role.
