The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

Nokia's IP Networks business division includes IP routing, network automation and analytics technologies and related services sold to our communication service provider customers as well as adjacent markets including webscale companies and enterprises. Our comprehensive wide area networking and data center networking solutions enable our customers to build and operate automated, secure, and high-performance networks at massive scale - helping to interconnect people and things from any broadband access modality to - and among - edge clouds, central clouds, the Internet, and other services and data centers.

This role is as a key member of the IP portfolio marketing team supporting the Network Automation business unit in IP Networks.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

As product marketing manager for IP network automation, you will be responsible for positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies for Nokia’s IP network automation portfolio. You will work closely with product management, the regional business centers and campaign strategy teams to develop compelling messaging and content and launch new features and solutions to market.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Develop product value propositions and positioning that clearly articulate our offers and differentiate us from the competition
- Work with the IPO marketing program management team to develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns and launches
- Provide support to the sales teams and regional business center teams with marketing tools to help their sales efforts, sales training to keep them up to date on the latest product and solution developments, and direct customer support as required
- Support external communications with customers, partners, industry analysts and media to represent the portfolio of products and solutions. Support the promotion of our solutions at external industry events and conferences.
- Support ‘getting the word out’ through active engagement on social media, and ensuring our products and solutions are visible at the right trade shows and industry conferences

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years experience in network management and automation.
- Ability to develop product/solution messaging and positioning that effectively communicates our value proposition, implementation approach & competitive differentiation to different audiences
- Excellent communications skills are essential including the ability to write clear and concise papers and articles that can effectively influence executives as well as technical decision makers and the ability to build and deliver clear and compelling presentations in PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of cloud-native, virtualization and container based networking approaches and their management and integration with OSS and cloud management tools and products (eg Openstack, Kubernetes, RedHat)
- Technical knowledge of IP/MPLS networking and network automation technologies (e.g. BGP, PCEP, MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN, model-driven management, Open APIs)
- Knowledge of the network management and automation vendor landscape
- Travel
- Ability to travel internationally once or twice a year
