- Client: European Commission Kindly note that for this position due to sensitive security data we can consider only EU Nationality citizens. Description Your tasks:
- Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes;
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
- Elaborate on Data governance topics, considering: 1. Data quality: implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability across all data sources. Establish data quality metrics and monitoring systems to continuously assess and improve data integrity; 2. Data lineage: set up a data lineage system to track the data flow from source to target; 3. Data observability: implement tools and techniques to monitor data pipelines in real time; 4. Data catalogue / metadata management: establish and manage a comprehensive data catalogue to provide a centralized repository of metadata; 5. GDPR, Data authorization / access and Data Security; 6. Data logging: establish data logging standards and practices to ensure comprehensive logging of data usage and changes; 7. Develop and disseminate best practices for data management and governance within the organization;
- Act on AI governance, with a special concern on: AI ethics and AI Act compliance
- Active involvement in the Data & AI Risk management. Requirements:
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Excellent experience in data governance, data management or related;
- Proficiency in data governance tools, data quality tools, data lineage tools and metadata management solutions;
- Experience in data quality, data control and monitoring techniques;
- Good knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools;
- Good knowledge of ETL and modelling tools;
- Knowledge of GDPR, data protection laws, and AI regulations such as the AI Act;
- Knowledge of data warehouse design & architecture;
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL;
- Familiarity with data security standards and technologies;
- Excellent command of the English language.
