Job Description:
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Legal Counsel for Benelux, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

- _ Review and negotiate commercial contracts, and provide counsel on legal compliance with a focus on a large environmental remediation project_
- _ Engage with external stakeholders and authorities, provide legal representation, and maintain company interests_
- _ Offer legal advice to 3M Belgium’s different business teams and support functions, manage claims and litigation, and instruct outside counsel_
- _ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and build strong working relationships_
- _ Analyze legal issues, identify risks, and develop strategies to protect company interests and counsel regarding regulatory compliance_

Your Skills and Expertise
- _ Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree_
- _ Fluent in Dutch and English_
- _ Significant post-qualification legal experience, including experience as Belgian attorney-at-law_
- _ Effective communication across all levels, strong interpersonal skills, willingness to engage with stakeholders, and collaborate within the team_
- _ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, proactive in identifying risks and offering practical solutions_

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- _ Good level of French_
- _ Experience in environmental law_
- _ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment._
