Costing Specialist

Lieu : Herstal, Belgium

**Mission**:
**Main Responsibilities**:

- Be a key player within the bid team
- Analyze request for proposal and evaluate the needs in terms of materials and manpower
- Build up cost estimates and lead times
- Maintain costing data base up to date according to
- Manufacturing operation sequence and associated labor time
- Latest quotations received from our suppliers (quotations coming from our Purchasing department)
- Propose cost optimization solutions
- Provide accurate “Estimated to Complete” to project managers during project execution phase
- Participate to risks and opportunities analysis
- Provide recommendations to bid and project manager
- Be a referent of the ERP system within the project team

**Profile**:
**Required level of studies and experience**
- Bachelor degree in Mechanics or Logistics
- Proven experience dealing with ERP system
- Proven experience in a similar position is an asset
- An experience working for an international defense company is also an asset;

**Knowledge and skills**

- You have a good understanding of manufacturing process
- You have strong analytical skills

- Team-oriented approach and transversal coordination across multiple departments
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- An experience using Oracle ERP is a real asset
