**The company**:
Elia is the operator of the Belgian high-voltage transmission grid (380 kV to 30 kV) and is responsible for developing and maintaining the grid, providing users with access to it and controlling energy flows. **Function**:
As Governance Security Specialist, you are employed within the Elia Security department. You act as the operational point of contact for Elia’s critical infrastructures. Within your task package, you follow up specific security projects with diverse internal and external stakeholders. This both administratively and in the field. You are the back-up of the Governance Security Manager.

Specifically, your range of tasks includes the following:

- Preparation of security dossiers for the Elia critical infrastructures
- Providing support in preparing legal defence plans
- Gathering information as part of the preparation of the security dossiers
- Coordinating and questioning internal stakeholders with regard to specific site-related items
- Requesting and supervising assessments
- Drawing up and formulating proposals for optimisation
- Stakeholder management
- Organising and attending meetings and site visits
- Maintaining periodic Security contacts
- Providing documentation of meetings
- Finalisation of security dossiers
- Responsibility for the administrative follow-up
- Management of databases and provision of periodic reporting
- Procedures and databases
- Supporting the follow-up and implementation of the Elia security procedures
- Developing consistent document management
- Responsibility for the qualitative documentation of guidelines, guides and procedures
- Analysis of existing procedures and reporting on possible optimisation
- Analysis and conversion of raw data information into structured procedures and guides tailored to the various stakeholders

**Your Profile**:

- You have a master’s degree (with a link to security) or at least three years’ relevant experience in a similar position.
- You are preferably bilingual in French/Dutch. Knowledge of English is a plus.
- You are able to work autonomously on a range of security dossiers and also to participate in internal working groups.
- You have the necessary communication skills and can adjust them to different target groups.
- You have a customer-oriented attitude and handle situations in this regard in a professional and service-oriented manner.
- You have the administrative skills in order to develop structured reporting. This applies to day-to-day items as well as to high level topics.
- You are versatile and can work simultaneously on multiple dossiers.
- You work meticulously and in a structured manner.
- You are stress-resistant.
- You have a driving licence B.
- You must be in a position to receive a security clearance.
