Product Owner

Based in Belgium, you will be leading a dynamic team that is responsible for end-to-end delivery - from customer engagements to operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will contribute to the overarching product vision and you will set your product roadmap and relevant epics & user stories to work on
- You will work closely with stakeholders to better understand requirements, aiming to optimize the value of the development team’s work
- You will own, maintain and prioritize the backlog of initiatives, including functional and non-functional requirements, and you will balance new functionalities vs. continuous product improvements to best achieve objectives
- You will accept deliverables at the end of each sprint
- You will be responsible for the outcome of your squad, including potential software issues/incidents that are related to the product of the squad
- You will contribute to product management activities in your squad, indicatively: go-to-market planning, product collaterals, market trends analyses, customer facing events, etc.

**Qualifications
**Soft skills**:

- Passionate about leading people, with an inspiring hands-on approach, and keen to help others achieve their potential, to grow and succeed
- Customer oriented and quality-oriented mindset, with strong communication skills
- Open-minded, curious, solutions oriented, and a true team player - gaining energy through collaboration and inspiring others
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

**Hard skills**:

- Knowledge of relevant collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience with SWIFT’s products and services and/or experience in relevant payments/fintech industry will be a strong advantage

**Education**
University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Business, or equivalent

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years in product driven roles, preferably in software development environment
- Agile processes, preferably in software development
