Janssen Pharmaceutica is recruiting for an In Vitro Associate Scientist Position, located in Beerse, Belgium.

**Qualifications**:
**Key Responsibilities, Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:

- Designing, performing, interpretating, troubleshooting and reporting complex data
- Ability to perform tissue culture is a must
- Cell/ molecular biology skills including transfections, transductions, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, siRNA/shRNA, qRT-PCR, Mesoscale, FACS and ELISA are desired
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to handle several projects simultaneously are required
- Excellent social skills with the ability to interact effectively with people and teams are required
- Detail-oriented, with excellent record-keeping skills is a must
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

**Preferred**:

- Knowledge of oncology and drug discovery experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.

**Other**:

- Working proficiency in English

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- A Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent in laboratory science, biotechnology, biology, or similar; or equivalent experience in industry/lab/academic setting
