**BirdLife Europe and Central Asia (ECA)** is looking for a dynamic, passionate and committed **HR Advisor.**

BirdLife ECA is a Partnership of 48 national conservation organisations and a leader in bird conservation. Our unique local-to-global approach enables us to deliver high-impact and long-term conservation for the benefit of nature and people.

BirdLife ECA is one of the six regional Secretariats that compose BirdLife International, the global authority on the status of bird species. Based in Brussels, it supports the European and Central Asian Partnership and is present in 47 countries including all EU Member States.

With more than 4.100 staff in Europe, 2 million members and tens of thousands of skilled
volunteers, BirdLife Europe and Central Asia, together with its national Partners, owns or manages more than 6,000 nature sites totalling 320 000 hectares.

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Europe and Central Asia team, and work as part of our global network of HR professionals.

- Proven track record of delivering HR within a multicultural environment, in a generalist or advisor role.
- Experience with Belgian payroll and employee benefits.
- Experience in managing casework and resolving employee relations issues. Experience in the lifecycle of people activity including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
- Ideally to be fluent in English, French and Dutch.
- Emotionally resilient and self-aware, with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload.Ability and confidence to communicate with people of all levels, and cultures, and through a variety of media.
- This role will partner with managers and colleagues to shape and deliver HR activities and initiatives in support of organisational goals and strategy. To advise managers and staff to embed good people management practices and maintain positive employee relations.

You will provide HR support and advice to the Europe and Central Asia team; deliver HR projects and initiatives at a regional and global level; and work with HR colleagues across the global network to provide effective global HR service.
