Context
The Quant Solutions team at Degroof Petercam Asset Management (DPAM) provides internal and external consultancy services, mainly oriented around portfolio optimization and asset allocation issues. This team develops efficiency-enhancing tools and designs and manages innovative investment strategies. The team is also a driving force behind the digital ambitions of DPAM and is closely involved in the various projects undertaken in this regard. To strengthen these ambitions, the team is therefore looking for a data analyst/engineer.

**Your Position**:
Your Position

As a **data analyst and engineer **you will be part of a cross cutting team of data and tech savvy experts working on a wide variety of topics related to asset management but what will your responsibilities be during your journey at DPAM as a Data Analyst & Data Engineer?
- For several new data projects, you will **take ownership** and collaborate on existing** data projects.**:

- Maintain and design **ETL pipelines**:

- Analyze and monitor the **quality** of new and existing **data flows**.
- Provide useful insights to different stakeholders by **building BI dashboards**:

- **Collaborate** with our **FinTech partners **and track their data quality and reports
- Contribute to the data vision of DPAM by **proposing new initiatives**:

- Act as the **bridge** between** business, IT and the data office**:

- **Develop new tools**, while maintaining existing ones, to** increase operational efficiency** and support other departments to grow our business.

**Your Profile**:

- What do we consider as
- **“must have” skills** to excel as a data analyst and data engineer?- At least a bachelor’s degree with a focus on **engineering, IT or data analytics**:

- A **first experience** in a data driven environment
- Working knowledge of **SQL, PowerBI, ETL, SSIS and SSAS**:

- A** problem-solving mindset** with creative ideas and a pragmatic work ethic
- ** Fluent in English** with a professional knowledge of **Dutch or French**

Which skills could be
- **an asset **to get even faster up to speed in this role?- An **affinity** with the** financial markets**:

- Being fluent in English, Dutch and French
- A good knowledge of **Python**
