Sword Technologies is seeking a **Proficient Online Communication Consultant** to support the social media team of the European Commission in promoting EU programmes and policies. As part of a high-impact digital communication unit, you will help design, implement, and evaluate multi-channel digital strategies that enhance the visibility of key European initiatives in the fields of education, culture, youth, and research.
**Your Role**:
You will be integrated into the European Commission’s communication team and collaborate closely with policy units, campaign strategists, and digital content creators. Your key tasks include:
- Providing strategic advice on digital communication actions and campaigns;
- Recommending and evaluating the use of new trends, tools, and methodologies in digital engagement;
- Supporting the execution of social media campaigns and broader digital communication initiatives;
- Proposing key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring performance, and drafting analysis reports;
- Conducting stakeholder analyses and SWOT assessments for communication strategies;
- Writing and presenting insights based on social media trends;
- Designing, managing, and (where possible) producing audio-visual materials;
- Participating in internal meetings and working groups;
- Ensuring alignment with the European Commission’s policy priorities and political context.
**Who We're Looking For**:
We’re looking for a **medior-level consultant** with strong experience in digital communication, particularly within a complex institutional or policy-driven environment. You should demonstrate:
- Proven expertise in managing digital campaigns, social media channels, and communication strategy;
- Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and reporting;
- Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to manage multimedia content creation (video, infographics, etc.);
- Knowledge of EU institutions and current EU policy topics is a strong asset.
