You will work in a new squad focusing on an international Orange Group project: "Customer Centric Network". Are you the skilled profile we are currently looking for? **Your mission**: As Data Scientist, you understand the business needs and you are able to answer it by extracting value from the data thanks to advanced statistical models and innovative data visualizations. You contribute to the delivery of the Big Data use case roadmap aiming at generating extra revenues, optimizing processes and rationalizing business decisions. **Your responsibilities**: - Perform advanced data mining / analysis using state-of-the-art methods - Depending on the context and objective to reach, select the most appropriate features/methods, build and optimize data classifiers using machine learning techniques - Expose comprehensive results, demonstrate business value and advise on way forward to a senior management by translating data-driven insights into clear decisions and action plans. - Create and deliver data driven products (like automated decision systems, AI based anomaly detection, etc) and execute corresponding performance monitoring until industrializing phase - Promote ingestion of (new) information / data sources (internal and external when needed) that are relevant for building analytic systems **Your profile**: - You hold a Master degree or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or related fields - You have minimum **3 years experience **doing quantitative analysis and using complex statistical models (preferably in Bank, Insurance, Telco or Energy industries) - You are able to work and collaborate transversally - You possess excellent communication and storytelling skills to effectively tune your delivery to your target audience - You have an analytical thinking and self-learning spirit - You are able to quickly prototype ideas and solve complex problems by adapting creative approaches - Explorer thinking to go beyond the scope, discover new opportunities, reveal patterns and identify long term trends. - Languages: you speak English fluently and Dutch or French (and you are able to understand the second national language) **Your technical expertise**: - Statistical expertise: you are able to develop predictive models and leverage advanced statistical algorithms, including R-MLR / Python libraries or any other suitable open source techniques. - Advanced expertise in Data visualization and data analysis: you are able to use standard tools (R Studio, Power BI) and non-standard visualization libraries (ggplot2, matplotlib, shiny, plotly) to adapt visual restitution to the case - Expertise in Data Ingestion / Processing and Modelling: you are able to express complex data needs / understanding of data quality-cleansing processes & methods - Extensive Corporate Data Knowledge: you are aware of majority of company business processes and underlying data, you are able to challenge data quality - Fluency in SQL for writing efficient queries on large datasets - Scripting in R-Python - Active in data science community (publish own model / package) - Expertise in mobile and / or fix network data is a plus **Discover our offer** A dynamic working environment where you can develop your full potential by working with highly skilled colleagues and through continuous training.
