Trade Accounting Support Officer

**Responsibilities**:
Financial transaction processing: Assist in the processing and management of financial transactions related to trade accounting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines and procedures.
Bookkeeping and reconciliation: Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Trade finance support: Collaborate with the trade finance team to provide support in processing trade-related transactions, documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, prepare reports, and assist in generating financial statements and other relevant documentation.
Communication and collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as finance, operations, and trade teams, to ensure smooth information flow, resolve issues, and support overall business objectives.
Compliance and risk management: Adhere to established compliance policies and procedures, identify potential risks, and contribute to risk mitigation efforts.
**Requirements**:
Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, trade finance, or any role involving the processing and management of financial transactions.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience.
Language skills: Good knowledge and understanding of Dutch, French, and English (written and spoken). Fluency in Dutch or French with English proficiency is mandatory.
Telework: After the initial training period, there is a possibility for a 50% on-site and 50% remote work arrangement, requiring the ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Business experience: Prior experience in trade accounting or a related field is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of trade finance processes and regulations.
Soft skills: Punctual and analytical, with a keen attention to detail. Autonomous and eager to learn,
with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Risk-awareness and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and compliance.
**Salary**: From €2,000.00 per month
