Internship- Full Stack Software Developer

**Internship Position**:
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer Intern who will participate in the study, design, and prototyping of backend and front-end software tools for monitoring and controlling experimental robotics systems across terrestrial, marine, and space exploration domains.
- **Location**: Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (Brussels Area)
- **Duration**: 3-6 months
- **Start date**: As of August or September 2025
**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Develop and review functionalities for the robot control centre, using web-based User Interface using VUE and webpack
- Develop:
- Front-End UI design and review using Figma
- Back-End services for data management using Python, NodeJS, SQL and data exchange methods (e.g. HTTP, WebSockets, ROS-DDS)
- Contribute to the development of advanced tools for autonomous vehicle handling, mission planning, and plan monitoring.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree, in Computer Science, or any related fields
- Experience or knowledge in:
- UI/UX design
- JavaScript framework, web pack
- Python programming
- Working with SQL databases
- Using REST API, HTTP calls, and web socket communication
- Object-oriented programming and/or functional programming
- Delivering technical documentation
- Proficient in using Git for version control
- Fast learner and ability to adopt new technologies
- Ability to work independently with a good sense of responsibility
- Result driven
- Good command of spoken and written English.
