For our infrastructure department we are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA). You will be part of a rather small team that manages different technologies within a fast moving environment. Flexibility in terms of being able to switch between topics and in terms of working hours is an absolute must.

**Your Job**:
You’ll be the DBA for Oracle, MS-SQL and other DB technologies, this means that you’ll be responsible for:

- Day to day DBA activities
- Automation of the daily tasks
- Monitoring DB clusters with Splunk and PRTG
- Making sure that the databases are up to date with the latest security patches and with the newest version (new feature’s, bug fixes )
- DB domain architect
- Define technical architecture for the database
- Implementation of the designed architecture
- Define IT standards and rules
- Point of contact for iOPS, level 2 system engineers
- Close collaboration with the IOPS team in case of database questions for the business assets
- Close collaboration with the level 2 system engineers for the technical assets

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor/Master in informatics or equivalent based on experience;
- Expert in database servers (MS SQL, Oracle, Cassandra, MySQL, PostGreSQL, MongoDB... )
- Good knowledge within 3 or more of the following areas:

- Microsoft Windows
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Ansible
- Networking (Switching, Routing, FW, proxy,)
- Virtualisation (VMWare)
- Web Security (Web Application Firewall, API Gateway,)
- Communication gateway’s (API, File transfer, MQ,)
