**Job description**:

- As part of the Controlling team within the Group Finance department at BekaertDeslee, you will be responsible for a specific set of local business units (region). You will assist them in the planning processes, controlling, monthly variance analysis reporting and management reporting at group level:

- planning process (budget, forecast, long term business plan), management reporting, monthly variance analysis
- preparation of management and shareholder reporting; ensuring a correct financial view on the performance of the organization
- development and optimization of consolidation and planning reporting
- ad hoc analysis
- provide the local business units with financial support and analyses
- assist the units in the correct use of SAP FICO
- cash flow reporting
- ensure group standard procedures
- support units with capital expenditure approval flows and reporting
- support units with SAP FICO and SAP BPC transactional guidance
- Together with the other members of the Controlling team you will work on standardization and alignment of processes and procedures to reach global standards.
- You will be responsible for the Operational reporting on group level with focus on Plant controlling & Inventory and will support the different Business Units in reporting and improving their Operational performance.
- You will be responsible for Capital Expenditures reporting on Group level and will oversee investment projects in the different Business Units.
- Next you will also be involved in monthly and ad-hoc reporting to the BD management and Shareholder reporting. Your primary reporting tool will be SAP BPC.
- According to interest and capabilities also be involved in projects regarding M&A, cost optimization, continuous improvement, sales development and others.
- You will report to the Head of Controlling, Reporting & Planning

**Profile**:

- University-degree in finance or business economics
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reporting or controlling
- Having worked in a multinational company is a plus
- A good understanding of controlling and financial modelling
- Basic accounting and consolidation insights, IFRS
- Experience with planning processes
- Fluent in Dutch and English, other languages are a plus
- Eager to travel up to 10 - 20% of your time
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with ERP (preferably SAP), Consolidation software (preferably SAP BPC) and PowerBi.
- Team player, excellent communication skills, customer focused and highly approachable
- Hands-on mentality, able to work independently
- Effective problem solving skills, results oriented and flexible
- You challenge the status quo in order to create more efficient processes and work on improvements
