We are seeking to reinforce our team with a Legal Advisor with a background in EU law (with a particular focus on: data protection, social security, occupational health and safety, employment environment, transport or energy) for an immediate position.

The key tasks will include the following:

- Research and development of analytical reports on European legal topics according to areas of expertise
- Supporting the management of projects to budget while ensuring that deadlines and quality objectives are met, and supporting the coordination of multidisciplinary teams
- Development and drafting of proposals
- Liaison and meeting with clients
- At least a master’s degree in law from an EU university
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas:

- Environment
- Energy
- Transport
- Employment
- Occupational health & safety
- Social security
- Data protection
- Good knowledge of EU legislation and/or strong exposure to the EU institutions
- Proven expertise in at least one EU country’s legislation (including a law degree from that country)
- An independent, self-starter personality with a commitment to quality
- Well-organised, practical-minded and able to prioritise a busy and varied workload
- Clear, concise and accurate writing skills in English, including the ability to review and edit the work of others
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word
- Excellent spoken and written English with experience of drafting reports in English
- Knowledge of other EU languages is an asset.
