Let's talk about the role:
The Underwriting Assistant will aid in the growth and development of the Underwriting department. The focus of the role is to support the underwriters in their day-to-day operations.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Administrative processing of quotation requests;- Perform the day-to-day policy administration.- Perform the administrative processing of renewals, new policies and cancellations.- Send documentation to intermediaries- Provide other underwriting support such as client screening, renewal preparation and use of technical pricing model.
Next to these tasks, there are team & organisation related responsibilities such as:
- Actively participating in knowledge-sharing- Participating in Company-wide projects when needed- Ensure client intimacy is actieved through the efficient oversight of issues raised including liaison to ensure effective conclusion to compalints and claims.- Maintain strong, effective relationships with existing brokers and client
Who are we looking for ?- Minimum bachelor diploma.- A first experience is an asset- Language skills - Dutch & English with preferably French- High affinity with computer operating systems- High level of accuracy and client orientation-
- Pro-active, well organized with strong communication skills.
